πŸ’° Budget Planning and Payment

At 1it.pro, we follow the principle of complete financial transparency. We understand that budget is a key decision-making factor, so we offer flexible cooperation models convenient for both startups and large businesses.

Cooperation Models

We work by two main industry standards. The choice depends on your project's specifics.

1. Fixed Price

Ideal for small projects (landing pages, business cards) or MVPs with clear Technical Specifications (TS).

  • How it works: We estimate the project "on shore". You know the final amount and timeline before work starts.
  • Payment: Split into stages (for example: 30% advance / 40% after layout / 30% before release).
  • Pros: We take timeline risks ourselves.
  • Cons: Any functional change requires re-estimation and additional agreements.

2. Time & Material (Pay for Time)

Best choice for complex services, startups, and long-term support.

  • How it works: You pay for actual hours worked by specialists.
  • Payment: Upon completion of work (usually every 2 weeks or month).
  • Pros: Maximum flexibility. You can change task priorities right during development without rewriting the contract.
  • Control: We provide reports from time tracking (Leantime), so you see where every minute went.

Since we're based in Poland, we offer convenient and legal payment methods for clients worldwide (Europe, USA, Ukraine, CIS).

We work officially

We sign B2B contract (Faktura VAT / Invoice)

  • Currency: EUR, USD, PLN, UAH (depending on client's country).
  • Documents: You receive an official invoice that can be processed through your company's accounting as software development expenses.
  • Taxes: We pay taxes in the EU, you get a clean legal history.

What's included in the hourly rate?

When you pay for developer work, you get not just "writing code". Our rate includes:

  1. Project Management: Organizing the process so you don't spend time on micromanagement.
  2. Code Review: Senior developers review code by juniors.
  3. QA (Testing): Basic functionality check before showing to you.
  4. DevOps: Setting up servers and development environment.

⚠️ Additional Expenses

To keep the budget from being a surprise, consider expenses that are NOT included in development cost and are paid by the client directly to providers:

Third-party Services

The following items are paid separately (usually from your card):

  • Domain name (site address, e.g., mysite.com).
  • Hosting / Server (Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud) β€” from $5 to $100+ per month.
  • Paid APIs (Google Maps, SMS gateways, ChatGPT API, etc.).
  • Licenses (Paid fonts, plugins, photo stocks).

We always warn about such expenses in advance and help choose optimal tariffs.
