How to Choose and Register a Domain

A domain is the address of your business on the internet (for example, 1it.pro). It is your intellectual property that needs to be properly registered.

1. Where Do We Recommend Buying Domains?โ€‹

We recommend using trusted registrars with transparent pricing and good protection:

  • Namecheap โ€” a global standard, excellent support and free data protection (Domain Privacy).
  • Cloudflare โ€” sells domains at cost price (best long-term value).
  • Cyber_folks / OVH โ€” if you need a domain in the .pl zone.

2. Key Rules for Choosing a Nameโ€‹

  • Brevity: The shorter, the better (ideally 1-2 words).
  • Clarity: Avoid complex letter combinations that are hard to spell out over the phone.
  • Zone (TLD): For international business, choose .com. For local business in Poland โ€” .pl.

3. The Most Important Thing: Securityโ€‹

Golden Rule

Always register a domain under your personal email or your company's official email. Never let third-party developers register a domain under their personal accounts โ€” this deprives you of legal control over the name.

What to do after purchase? Simply grant us access to the account via Vaultwarden, and we will configure DNS records to launch your website.

You don't need to configure server records yourself. Simply grant us access through a secure vault (for example, Bitwarden), and we will set up:

  • A records (linking to the Hetzner server);
  • MX records (mail configuration);
  • TXT records (service verification).
