Managing Your Blog on Ghost

For running your corporate blog, we chose Ghost. It is a modern publishing platform used by the blogs of Apple, NASA, OpenAI, and many other technology giants.

Unlike the bulky WordPress, Ghost is focused on one thing only β€” convenient writing and maximum loading speed.

πŸš€ Why Does Ghost Help with SEO?

Ghost is a "secret weapon" for your marketing. Here's how it helps you rank higher in Google:

  1. Incredible Speed: Ghost runs on Node.js technology. Sites on it load instantly, which is a key ranking factor in Google.
  2. Clean Code: Unlike other systems, Ghost generates perfect markup that is easy for search bots to read.
  3. Built-in SEO: You don't need to install plugins like Yoast. All meta tags, sitemaps, and structured data are already configured by us.
  4. Google Discover: Thanks to proper structure, articles from Ghost are more likely to appear in Google's recommendation feed on smartphones.

πŸ“ How to Write and Publish an Article

Step 1. Login to the Dashboard

Go to: your-site.com/ghost and enter your credentials.

Step 2. Creating a Post

  1. Click "Posts" in the left menu, then click the "+" (New Post) button.
  2. Title: Write a catchy headline (H1).
  3. Editor: Simply start writing. Ghost uses a "card-based" editor:
    • To add an image, video, or gallery, click the "+" icon or type / on a new line.
    • You can embed YouTube videos by simply pasting the link β€” Ghost will automatically turn it into a player.

Step 3. SEO and Cover Settings

Click the settings (gear) icon in the upper right corner:

  • Post Image: Upload the main article image.
  • Excerpt: Write a brief summary (1-2 sentences) that will be visible on social media.
  • Authors / Tags: Specify the author and choose categories (tags).
  • Metadata: Here you can see how your article will appear in Google and adjust the description if needed.

πŸ’‘ 3 Tips to Make Your Blog a Sales Tool

To make your blog not just "sit there" but actually bring in clients, follow these rules:

1. Solve Client Pain Points

Don't write about what a "dynamically developing company" you are β€” write about how to solve the client's problem.

  • Bad: "Our company is 10 years old."
  • Good: "How to save 30% on taxes in Poland with automation."

In each new article, link to your old materials or to your services page. This keeps users on the site and improves SEO.

3. Call to Action (CTA)

At the end of each article, always add a button or link.

  • Example: "Want to set up the same system? Sign up for our free audit."

πŸ›‘ Security and Backups

We've Got It Covered

Your Ghost blog is deployed in a Docker container on a Hetzner server. We have configured automatic backup of the database and your images every night. Even if you accidentally delete an important article β€” we can restore it.

Important Rule for Images

Try to upload images in WebP format or compressed JPEG. The optimal image width for a blog is 1200px. This will help maintain lightning-fast page loading speeds.
