1Desk and GDPR
1Desk is installed on your server, and all customer information stays there. We do not move it to our own cloud or keep a second copy outside your infrastructure, so the setup stays aligned with GDPR-first deployments.
The simple version
- messages stay inside your installation
- contacts and history stay in your CRM or source of truth
- access is limited to the people you allow
- backups stay under your control
- data can be removed when you ask for it
What is stored
We store only what is needed to run the process:
- the message thread
- contact details the client shares
- status and notes about the request
- technical logs needed for support and security
What we do not do
- we do not sell your data
- we do not keep a hidden copy on our side
- we do not move it to a marketing database
- we do not share it with third parties unless the project requires it and you approve it
- we do not keep data longer than necessary for the agreed workflow
Who can see it
Only the people who need access for the project can see the data. If you want, we can limit access even further and keep everything under your internal account structure.
Deletion and export
If you need to delete data, export it, or hand it over to another system, we keep that process simple. That matters for GDPR because control is the point.
This page explains the working setup. For the formal legal wording, see the Privacy Policy (GDPR).
In one sentence
1Desk helps you run a fast customer workflow without giving up ownership of the data.
