1desk-operator

1desk-operator is the mobile operator app for 1Desk. If you want to answer from a phone instead of living in the browser, this is the right tool.

What it is​

1desk-operator connects to a selected self-hosted 1Desk installation through REST and Socket.IO. It keeps the mobile operator cabinet separate from the web admin and supports multiple servers.

How to use it​

1. Install the app​

Install the 1desk-operator mobile client on Android or iOS.

2. Add a server​

Enter the address of your 1Desk installation. The app checks the connection and saves the server only after the probe succeeds.

3. Sign in​

Then use the usual login flow:

  • email
  • password
  • TOTP 2FA if required

4. Pick a channel and conversation​

After login the operator sees:

  • inboxes / channels
  • conversation list
  • the chat itself

5. Reply to the customer​

You send replies directly from the phone. That is the real working flow of 1desk-operator.

6. Pause AI in a specific chat when needed​

If a human is already handling the conversation, AI can be paused for that thread so the bot does not interrupt the live exchange.

7. Receive push notifications​

The app can register a push token and receive notifications for new messages.
